Old Oyster Racks Removed
As part of the Exe Estuary Spring Clean up Devon Sea Fisheries teamed up with Exmouth Mussels, River Exe Shellfish Farms and Natural England to clear some of the old Oyster racks from the estuary.
The team spent a very muddy few hours removing the old racks which had become unusable and were slipping into the deeper channel. Myles of Exmouth Mussels was invaluable to the success of the clean up events by helping with the volunteer day and the oyster rack removal. Our special thanks go to him and his family.
